Information on the Protection of Personal Data

As MAK GROUP LLC, we attach great importance to the processing and protection of your personal data in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”). We would like to inform our customers about our purposes and methods of collecting, processing, and transferring personal data, as well as your rights arising from the Law.

1. Methods of Collecting Personal Data

As MAK GROUP LLC, in our capacity as the data controller, within the scope of our legal obligations arising from legislation; we collect your personal data through verbal, written, or electronic means such as our website, social media platforms, mobile applications, and similar channels. This is done for purposes such as enabling you to benefit from our services, informing you about our campaigns upon your consent, recording your suggestions and complaints, improving our service standards, and determining and implementing MAK GROUP LLC’s commercial and business strategies.

2. Processing of Personal Data and Purposes

As MAK GROUP LLC, in our capacity as the data controller, your personal and/or sensitive personal data that we obtain through call centers, written communication channels, social media pages, mobile communication channels, in-store communication channels, and other similar channels may be wholly or partially obtained, recorded, stored, preserved, modified, updated, periodically checked, reorganized, classified, and retained for the period required for the purpose of processing or as stipulated by the relevant law.

When necessary due to legal or service-related requirements, such data may be shared/transferred with private/legal entities that MAK GROUP LLC cooperates with, public institutions and organizations that it is legally obliged to share with, and/or third parties located in Turkey or abroad, and may also be transferred abroad.

We inform you that your personal data may be processed in accordance with Law No. 6698 and relevant legislation for purposes such as enabling you to benefit from our services, informing you about campaigns upon your consent, recording your suggestions and complaints, improving service quality, and determining and implementing MAK GROUP LLC’s commercial and business strategies.

4. Rights of the Personal Data Owner Under Article 11 of the Law

You have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed

  • Learn which personal data is processed

  • Obtain information about the purposes of processing

  • Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred domestically or abroad

  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data

  • Request deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with the Law

  • Request notification of such corrections/deletions to third parties

  • Object to outcomes against you arising from automated processing

  • Request a copy of your personal data

Privacy and Security

MAK GROUP LLC Online Shop may request certain personal information (such as name, age, interests, email, etc.) in order to provide better service. This information collected on MAK GROUP LLC Online Shop servers is used solely within the company for purposes such as campaign activities, customer-specific promotions, and classification to prevent unwanted emails.

All information entered into the system can only be accessed and modified by the customer. It is not possible for others to access or change this information. Credit card details requested on the payment page are not stored on MAK GROUP LLC Online Shop servers or those of its service providers. All payment transactions are carried out directly between your bank and your device through the MAK GROUP LLC Online Shop interface.
